I think I know ho...Amanda, I so love your comments! I think I know how you feel about these posts; I have a friend that got the idea from me for monthly letters, and she also posts them. And I absolutely adore them! I've never met her daughter, but there's just something about being able to connect from afar and relive the various stages that's so meaningful.

I wish we lived closer, too - it would be great to get to live our lives together; this motherhood is really transforming and amazing and hard, isn't it? And it is worth something to connect with others in this same stage.

Regarding arranged marriages, they do have a pretty good success rate, so I think this is worth considering. Why don't we make sure Brennan crosses paths with your boys to see if something naturally develops? If not, we'll use some reverse psychology to engineer something without actually appearing to ("We're going over to Amanda's tonight, but leave her boys alone - I don't want you getting any ideas in your head, especially about [Son That We've Chosen For Her]." And if those don't work, we'll just come out and tell her we've already decided. ;-)Faithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05006548454118363234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21891438.post-26770667994306624812012-02-28T20:48:22.307-06:002012-02-28T20:48:22.307-06:00Oh, Faith. I so love reading these letters! Some...Oh, Faith. I so love reading these letters! Sometimes I laugh out loud (did that several times with this one), and sometimes I get teary (did that with this one too). I shared those same articles - one that I saw on FB, and one that I blogged about too! So touching! Reading your blog posts always make she wish I lived closer to you so that I could visit you and had coffee and tea and let the kids play. I feel like I love Brennan - seriously! I love reading about her personality. Also, Tate had a developmental test recently, and he stacked 10 blocks at 21 months of age and they were so incredibly impressed. And Brennan is several months younger! Such a fine motor prodigy you have! ;-) I've already requested an arranged marriage with Stef's daughter to one of my boys, but I have two boys left so was wondering if you would consider a marriage between your daughter and one of my sons. :-)~Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05923377363611128087noreply@blogger.com
